LOTRO Weekly is looking for one or two writers to join me in article writing. We are currently looking for people to write a weekly article with a singular topic/theme (Similar to our Weekly Outfit).

• Weekly video
• Forums hot-topic summarization
• A topic of your choosing!

Tips for screenshots:

• If you can, turn your graphics all the way up before you take a screenshot.
• Make sure you have good lighting.
• Hit F12 to hide your UI.

When I first read the announcement, I was upset. I was very upset.

But the more I read from what the developers and community managers have to say, the more I calm down and think it’s not going to be too bad. As a lifetime member, I do not loose any of my current benefits. I can keep playing in full and get 500 TP a month at no cost.

Everytime Turbine makes a big announcement, doom-and-gloom and hysterics occur. I am choosing to stay as far away from that as possible, so I am probably not going to be spending a whole lot of time in the forums.

I have also realized that I’ve been spending more time writing and reading about LOTRO than actually playing it, so I am going to be playing a lot more now. I apologize, as this means a decrease in articles, but I really miss just playing and not analyzing everything. I will post articles a few times a week, but not as much as I do now.

• I’m looking into getting a new WordPress theme. Probably one that shows a snippet of a lot of articles rather than this kind of reverse chronological one that I have now, seeing as chronology is not so important with the posts I make.

• Thinking about submitting for a name change for Piccollo. I want something a bit more… lore-appropriate I guess. She’s from Bree-land so I’m thinking something like Abygail Thornwood or something slightly sinister sounding along those lines. Definitely going with Abygail for the first name though.

• Still super busy with school stuff sorry! But I have lots of ideas for when I am un-busy. If you have any ideas for me or requests, whatever, let me know!

I hope I can attend this. Just made a Cithryth on Nimrodel in case I can. We’ll see
